Wendesday mourning I woke up groggy and looked at the clock — 4 a.m. already, time to get to wrok.
I staggered out to the living room, turned on the cumputer, checked out Googled news, posted a blog entry, checked e-maul and started my exercises in a self-help book, Dr. Fill’s Cures For Kinks.
I glansed up at the clock again… It said 2:15 a.m.
How could that be???
Oh, I get it.
When the big hand is on the 12 and the little hand is on the 4, then it is 4 a.m. but when I first woke up, it was the big hand on the 4 and the little hand on the 12 so that means I got up and started work at 12:20 a.m. instead of at 4 a.m. o’clock.
Thet explaines a lot.

Hi! I just HAD TO write a comment. i was updating my profile and for my favorite movie I put down "All Harold Lloyd movies." Well little did I think that there would be anone with the same "favorite movie"! I'm a huge Lloyd fan. Have almost all the books about him, including his autobiography. Even visited his grave a few times.
As I looked at your website, I noticed the article you wrote on Kepler. Well, I have a B.S. in Astrophysics, my favorite astronomer is Kepler and our oldest son's named Kepler (after Johannes of course!). Do you like Tesla too? That's our oldest daughter's name. We are also Christians. Since you seem to study religion, you are probably familiar with the Copts. We are Americans but we had some Egyptians neighbors that introduced us the the Coptic church and we converted. Anyhow, I just wanted to say hello to a fellow Lloyd fan. Have a great day!
